Book Club Kits

Each Book Club Kit includes a tote bag with 10 copies of a title, plus discussion questions and background information – such as author biographies and book reviews.

Reserving a kit:

Click on the “Available Titles” link on this page to see a complete list, or search our catalog for “Book Club Kits.” Select the title you would like, and click on Place Hold. If you need additional help, please call your local branch. Only one kit may be checked out at a time. Please allow one week from request to pick up. At this time, we cannot accommodate reservations for specific time periods.

Check out time:

Kits are checked out to one group member with a library card who is responsible for all the materials. The kit is checked out for six weeks at a time. Kits may not be renewed.

Pick up and return:

Kits may be picked up at any BRL branch. They must be returned to a BRL branch during open hours since they cannot fit into the book drops.

Damaged or Lost parts:

BRL policies regarding damaged item charges and collection agency fees apply to Book Club Kits as well.

  • Entire Bag: $125 plus $5 processing fee
  • Replacement title: $10/book
  • Replacement bag: $13/bag
